Addictions such as alcohol, cocaine, meth…those types of addictions, I strongly recommend that you quit those other addictions first because they can be triggers to smoking cigarettes and can create a vicious cycle.

    If you have a food addiction, a common one being a carbohydrate addiction, simple carbs, and comfort food like sugar, cookies, ice cream, potato chips, things like that, I recommend you quit smoking first give your body 3 to 4 weeks to normalize after you quit.
